SED installed a 655kW solar array for Marshall Farms Group in Clyde, NY in March of 2014. The project has been so successful that Marshall Farms Groups has plans to expand the solar project in the near future.

The project received funding through the NY-Sun program, which is a $1 billion initiative to advance the scale-up of solar power and move the state closer to having a sustainable, self-sufficient solar industry. NY-Sun is administered by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and is expected to avoid the emissions of 116,000 tons of greenhouse gases, the equivalent of removing 23,000 cars from the road.
